NewLyfe Towels

Towels are one of those things you never think about until you're living in a
caravan with two kids - and suddenly four big sandy bath towels are eating your
storage and never drying out. NewLyfe towels sorted that out for us.

They're a quick-dry, sand-free design, so the sand genuinely shakes straight off
instead of grinding into everything (a small miracle after a beach day at Noosa
North Shore). They soak up a surprising amount of water for how thin they are,
then dry fast hung over the awning — so they're ready to go again, not still damp
in the morning.

The best bit for van life is the size: each one packs down to a fraction of a
normal towel, so the whole family's towels take up the space one old beach towel
used to. Lighter, too, which every gram counts when you're watching weight.

A couple of honest notes: like any microfibre-style towel they feel different to a
big fluffy cotton one — more "wipe dry" than "wrap up in" — and they're best given
a wash before first use. But for camping, the beach and the kids, they've earned a
permanent spot in Callie.
